Turkey Chili Recipe

California Turkey Chili

Yield: 8 Servings

Ingredients

1/2 ts olive oil
1 c bell peppers; chopped
1 c onions; chopped
2 cloves garlic; minced
30 oz dark red kidney beans; drained and washed
29 oz crushed tomatoes
1 c water
3 c turkey light meat; skinless, cooked and cube
1 tb chili powder
1 ts coriander
1 ts red pepper flakes
1 ts salt
1 c fat-free cheddar cheese; grated

Instructions

In a skillet heat oil over low heat. Add bell peppers, onions, and garlic. Cook until tender. Then, add beans, tomatoes, water, turkey, chili powder, coriander, red pepper flakes, and salt. Simmer 25 minutes.

Serving Ideas : Serve topped with grated cheese, if desired.
