Spanish Turkey Sausage

Yield: 1 Servings

Ingredients

2 lb ground raw turkey
2 ts salt
1 clove garlic, finely minced
1/2 ts red pepper flakes
1 ts cumin seeds
2 ts oregano or Italian seasoning
1/4 c dry red wine
1 few drops of liquid smoke seasoning; (optional)

Instructions

Follow recipe directions above. Sixteen patties, about 70 calories each.

Have the trimmed of fat and ground, or grind it yourself. Combine with remaining ingredients and mix lightly. Gently shape into 16 patties. Wrap and freeze, if desire. Broil or barbecue for 2 minutes on each side (3 minutes, if frozen).
